Artificial Grass Blade Designs

The S blade is made to reflect sunlight in a way that makes it look good. In other words, the turf won’t have a white look when faced with sunlight. The W-Blade design keeps the turf cooler than other artificial grasses. It remains at least fifteen degrees cooler at all times, making it a suitable choice in hot and sunny areas. The V-Shape blade is designed to make turf stand up straighter and taller than other grasses, making it look realistically tall. Similar to the V-design, the C-design is also designed to stand straight especially under significant pressure. What is Artificial Grass Infill? Infill is used between artificial grass blades and spread down into the turf fibers to help the blades of grass stand up. It also protects the grass backing from ultraviolet rays which could eventually cause damage. Some artificial grass infill options are ZeoFill, EnviroFill, Silica Sand and/or Rubber.

For years there has been a struggle for pet owners to decide if artificial grass is beneficial for their dogs. Since the vast majority of dogs have accepted fake grass as their bathroom, their owners had to water down and flush out the urine bacteria from the turf.

Many turf manufacturers have made antimicrobial pet turf to resist the bacterial ammonia from adhering to the turf fibers. Silica sand would hold ammonia urine resulting in a great deal of smell.
